Flash Fiction Foray-‘One Day Like This’

It’s that time of week again, and this week there are five fantastic entries to take a look at, based on Elbow’s song One Day Like This. I’ve been working on a few designs for a logo for the Forays, and I’ll ask everyone’s opinion tomorrow…

The entrants were Ritu from But I Smile Anyway…  who had a beautiful and romantic piece of descriptive writing. Sheldon Kleeman produced some wonderful poetry, with a whistful narration. Kritsa Yvonne had some brilliant imagery, with a “sunbeam stepladder” being my favourite metaphor (she also hosted a blog party, so do go along and take part if you can). Curtis Bausse, who used a wee bit of artistic licence to project a very dramatic piece in an unexpected direction-as did blackcherriess. Her twist made the piece delightfully chilling and an excellent read.
