It’s that time of week again, and this week there are six superb entries to take a look at, based on Lana Del Rey’s Once Upon A Dream. We are also delighted to welcome a couple of newcomers to the event, Julie from ‘The Indecisive Eejit’; and ‘Actual conversations with my husband’ (who wrote two responses!). Hopefully they both enjoyed it and please make sure to take a look at their replies.

Ritu from But I Smile Anyway… – ‘Once Upon A Dream’-FFF 37 – Ritu blended a mixture of the original film and the modern song, with a dash of what felt like modern thriller added to the mix

Sheldon Kleeman – FFF37 Once – Sheldon managed to convey a whole story, complete with moral, despite the restrictive word count

Ladyleemanila – ‘Once Upon A Dream’-FFF 37 – a lovely rhyming poem which contained imagery reminiscent of a chivalric romance

Julie from The Indecisive EejitOnce Upon a Dream – Flash Fiction – describing what songs make you feel is tricky – but Julie really captured Lana Del Rey’s simultaneous sense of melancholy and hope

Actual conversations with my husband – FFF: Once Upon a Dream – a comedic response focussing on the dreaming aspect, featuring a particularly amusing overreaction…

Actual conversations with my husband – Once Upon A Dream, Take II – this second response (!) is much darker and captures the more husky and morose feel Lana Del Rey’s vocals bring
