It’s that time of week again, and this week there are six superb entries to take a look at, based on Lana Del Rey’s song Young and Beautiful. I have also got the final results of the logo competition-tomorrow… If you still haven’t voted for your favourite logo, you can do so here.
The entrants were Ritu from But I Smile Anyway… who had a lovely response to the song’s questions, boosted by the colloquialisms in narration. Sheldon Kleeman also answered the queries in the lyrics; and wrote a beautifully idealistic piece. Kritsa Yvonne managed to include not only the source film, but some Greek culture with a very realistic account. Curtis Bausse had a glance into the dystopian and eugenics with a tension filled piece. blackcherriess ended her piece with some delightful ambiguity in a response which took an unexpected direction. And finally, Ladyleemanila had a lovely pen portrait of her grandparents in what I think is the first true story we’ve had!
Ritu’s post: FFF #27 -Young&Beautiful
Curtis’ piece: Flash Fiction: Young and Beautiful
Sheldon’s piece: FFF 27 Young and Beautiful
Yvonne’s piece: Flash Fiction – Young and Beautiful
Blackcherriess’ piece: Young and Beautiful
Ladyleemanila’s piece: ‘Young and Beautiful’
The next challenge will be given tomorrow evening, along with the final logo…
