It’s that time of week again, and this week there are six fantastic entries to take a look at, based on Fiona Apple’s cover of Pure Imagination.
The entrants here were Ritu from But I Smile Anyway… who had suitably dark subject matter with a twist whilst Ladyleemanila‘s piece focussed more on the jaunty tone of the lyrics. Kritsa Yvonne had a breakneck guide to the popular and famous in Greece and also had a more cheery take; in a scene which will hopefully become reality… Sheldon Kleeman showed a collage which went with his piece excellently, which was a tale of strength and resilience. Curtis Bausse threw a spotlight on a stormy backdrop leaving us all wanting more in a more religiously orientated take. Cherytato followed the spirit of the tune in taking words from the film and lending a sinister edge in a gripping narration of intrigue.
Ritu’s post: FFF#23 – Pure Imagination
Yvonne’s piece: Flash Fiction – Pure Imagination
Curtis’ piece: Flash Fiction: Forgive me
Sheldon’s piece: FFF/27 Pure Imagination
Ladyleemanila’s piece: My Fantasy – FFF23
Cherytato’s piece: Hold your breath
Sorry all for the week’s delay posting and the late roundup, I was a bit busy with essays. The next challenge will be given tomorrow evening…
