It’s that time of week again, and this week there are five fantastic entries to take a look at, based on the song You Ruin Me by The Veronicas.

The entrants here were Ritu from But I Smile Anyway… whose piece had an underlying dark tone that connected with the lyrics excellently. Rich from wafflemethis had a beautiful piece of poetry with all the comparisons and imagery coming together powerfully. Kritsa Yvonne‘s piece took an unexpected direction that fitted very well with the song whilst making a point. Curtis Bausse wrote a poignant and defiant memorial to the victims of the recent terror attack which sent a shiver down the spine, Sheldon Kleeman similarly had a haunting piece, though Sheldon’s, as Ritu’s, was a dark take that was brilliantly forlorn and melancholy.

Ritu’s post: FFF #20 – You Ruin Me

Rich’s piece: FFF#20

Yvonne’s piece: Flash fiction – You Ruin Me

Curtis’ piece: Flash Fiction: You Ruin Me

Sheldon’s piece: FFF20/You Ruin Me

The next challenge will be given tomorrow evening…
