It’s that time of week again, and this week there are five entries to take a look at, based on the song Happy by Pharrell Williams. I have been away since Friday, so apologies to the entrants and people I follow for not liking and commenting.
The entrants here were Ritu from But I Smile Anyway… had a a twist at the close in a somewhat melancholy piece, unlike wafflemethis who cleverly summed up the majority of relationships with some clever links to the song. Kritsa Yvonne had a novel piece of non-fiction extolling the virtues of her home. Sheldon Kleeman wrote some beautiful poetry about the core emotion of happiness itself, while Curtis Bausse had a new take on the old adage ‘money can’t buy you happiness’.
Ritu’s piece: FFF #16 Happy
Wafflemethis’s piece: FFF#16
Yvonne’s piece: Flash Fiction – Happy
Sheldon’s piece: FFF16 Happiness
Curtis’ piece: Flash Fiction: Happy
The prompt for the next week will be posted at (around) 19:00 UTC tomorrow. Thanks go to all the participants!
