It’s that time of week again, and we again have five participants this week; the challenge seems to be going up in the world!

They are: Ritu, from But I Smile Anyway…, with a moving and emotional tribute to the tragedy of 7/7. With his most recent piece, wafflemethis could well coin the term fantasy flash fiction, with an excellent piece making good use of the refrain. Kritsa Yvonne had a Lord of the Flies esque piece, with vivid descriptive detail. Sheldon Kleeman poetically described the pain of endless searching. And lastly we welcomed a newcomer, blogging friend Elizabeth Preston of ekpreston who captured the soulful and melancholy feel of the song, which itself is lyrical, and could be crooned gently over a rickety piano.

Ritu’s post: “FFF #9 I’m Gonna Be

wafflemethis’ post: “FFF #9

Yvonne’s post: “Flash Fiction – I would walk 500 miles

Sheldon’s post: ““I’m Gonna Be” FFF9

Elizabeth’s post: “Flash Fiction Foray

The prompt for the next week will be posted at (around) 19:00 UTC tomorrow. Thanks go to all the participants!

I would like to note my unforgivable error last week, it is not the ‘famous four’ as I wrote, rather the adventurous four and the famous five. Apologies to all affected by my serious error of judgement.

  2. Look how much we enjoy your blog and challenge , we’re all full of forgiveness! Or, are we embarrassed at not spotting it? P.S you might want to remove the sentence about last week’s flash fiction day. X
